Too bad this is so costly it makes the prime status useless.
Dear Amazon, I bet you would sell more of this if you worked out coupons or subscribe and save pricing or something for your loyal customers. I for one would buy this from Amazon exclusively if the product remained on Prime and was reasonably priced. Just think about it. Birds love black sunflower seed. Bird lovers go through this stuff very fast. It seems to me that it would be more lucrative for Amazon if the seeds were offered at a decent price. For now, I am out of seed and refuse to pay that price so my bird pals will leave and I will miss them. (I don't have access to Wall-mart etc...) please excuse my poor grammar...

This bag of bird seed contains way too many sticks and chunks of wood! I can only use it in a platform feeder, because the debris blocks the feeder holes and tubes, so even shaking the feeders won't get the seed free - talk about frustrated birds - and a waste of money. Buy something else - you will pay more for seed that is guaranteed to be 99% clean, but it will save you money in the long run - you won't be paying for sticks and chunks.
