Yes, I grew up with these too. I was going to purchase some for old time's sake and checked the website. Contains lard. In this day of heart and cholesterol awareness, I'm surprised that this is still the case. It shouldn't be that difficult to change the recipe slightly to eliminate lard, and call it a vegetarian friendly product.

If the last reviewer would of read the "Product Features" he would of noticed that this is for 24/8.5 oz boxes, not one box.

Anyway, this is really cheap corn bread mix that makes really good corn bread. It's a staple in my house. I'd recommend it.

These seem to work pretty well. I am forced to rent and am worried about smoke and cooking fumes accumulating. I have a 1 BR apartment with the return duct in an AC/Heater closet located
in my living room area. So far, it seems to do OK, better than just the simple cheapo filter the complex had there. I would suggest stocking up on these and replace them once a month, minimum.
At 8 bucks a filter, that's not bad if you fry chicken a lot or smoke in a sealed environment . I plan on ordering a bunch more and change them often. Also, the draw isn't going to make your AC/Heater unit become louder, that's important. I suppose it's not going to trap smaller particles like smoke and cooking fumes THAT much, but it's better than the super cheap cotton candy filter material my complex provided me with.

Stinky fumes. Not only do they singe your nose hairs, but chances are they're toxic! Chemicals, cigarette smoke... we know the aren't good for us.

I've always wondered why a charcoal-activated/carbon air filter was never available for whole-house HVAC systems. The makers of Accumulair must have pondered the same thing because here, after all these years, is an odor absorbing air filter for the house!

OK, I'll cut to the chase. This filter does a great job of absorbing household odors. It works like a regular particle filter and is just as easy to install. It's available in every size imaginable (be sure to double-check you're ordering the right one since that dropdown-menu size selector has enough sizes to make your eyes cross).

Four, not five, stars because it's not a super effective particle filter compared to a "regular" non odor-absorbing filter. The filter is more like a sponge material rather than cross-woven fibers or microfibers so there are bigger pores for some dust/allergens to penetrate. Allergy sufferers might fare better enduring the smell of last night's fish dinner instead of circulating bigger particles than a standard filter would catch. But it does exactly as claimed... it clears the funk from the air. (Well, maybe they didn't use the word "funk"...)

The medium size was big enough for my 13 or 15" laptop and for a full-sized SLR and lens. I use a neoprene sleeve for my Mac Book Air 13" laptop, for added protection, and it fits into the laptop section. Going through the security line at the airport is much easier with the fold-out section.
Very much impressed with the design and workmanship. Only reservation is about the noise the Velcro closure makes in a quiet room.

This is probably the most amazing bag that I have ever owned. I have had this bag for over two months and I am rarely without it and I have thrown almost everything at it that everyday life has. I have had it knocked off tables and had people trip over it and it has kept all of the things inside really safe. I am known to vastly over stuff my bags with stuff and I use it basically everyday and it still looks almost brand new. I have had many different messenger bags and backpacks and they start fraying or ripping after a a week or two. I see no signs of this happening. The money is well spent!

For many years the hype in Hollywood has been the strange looking Bugaboo strollers. So for the features we bought one..

The Good: As a petite woman I especially appreciate the inclusion of short handles on a stroller. The Bugaboo Frog does have perfectly placed handles where height is concerned. I have no problem reaching the handles and pushing my child around. I also get a thrill out of the "one hand turn" that the Frog allows you to accomplish. I find that my son seems comfortable in the Frog longer than his other strollers. I have a Fisher Price knock-off that he can easily get his way out of. He does tend to hate strollers, though. The navy blue color is especially aesthetically pleasing, as is the off white quilted-like design of the hood's interior. I have no experience with any shock to the stroller, but from what I have been told Bugaboo's can take a real beating. The stroller also drives extra smooth.

The Bad: I cringe each time that I have to fold the Frog up and place it into the car. The tutorial video at Bugaboo's website shows the model taking it apart completely, piece by piece. I have no time for that. Taking the seat portion off requires two people, usually. I have bad joints and squeezing the white buttons on the side will not work for me.

Unfolding the frame is even more hard. The frame has the tendency to make itself turn backwards. It also locks up and creates a major pain for those trying to fold it. Bugaboo really should fix this design flaw.

Bugaboo Frog Complete Stroller The Frog is the pioneer of the Bugaboo line. It is what started it all and is the predecessor for the Gecko and Cameleon. It is simply one of the most high tech and functional strollers on the market. The Bugaboo Frog is a travel system which has been hailed by celebrities and can found sprouting up in the most chic and trendy of urban neighborhoods. The Bugaboo Frog gets its name from a state of the art frog like suspension on the swivel wheels. It is the model of stroller engineering. With a load of features and an easy to follow instructional CD-ROM, Bugaboo's Frog Complete Stroller isn't as scary as maybe it would be at first glance. The Frog is a top of the line stroller which has pioneered technology into the stroller field.

These towels are oversized and soft and light weight. They however have no ability to absorb moisture. They move the water around on your body and that's about it.

I've turned a lot of friends on to Layrite. They have really good quality control and a really well made product. Probably the best kept secret in mustache wax out there. Everyone I know has their favorite wax, and most of the time it is clumpy beeswax that pulls on your hair, can't be easily removed, and just doesn't look natural. I can wax up my mustache with Layrite, sleep with it in and still have a presentable facial hair in the morning. A quick shower washes everything away cleanly. I've also used the Layrite super hold (which does have some beeswax in it) and it performs equally as well if not better.

This is a great product, Layrite washes out nicely compared to some other pomades. The problem I have is the way they worded the description. It states that the shipping weight is 9.6 oz. But in the product description, it says that it is a 4 oz. can, double most other pomade sizes (not really). I unfortunately saw the shipping weight and thought I was getting the larger size.

Safety 1st CC044AUC Review by I Buy Things "MAS"

First thing you need to do if you're considering this car seat, is to go to whichever store in your area sells this seat and TRY it out in your vehicle first.

It is on the taller side, which is a plus for when your child outgrows the rear facing limit you won't have to buy a new seat. However I've had no trouble fitting this car seat RF in a 00 jeep grand cherokee, or a 11 subaru impreza wrx sti. I DID have a problem finding a good fit in the 11 prius.

As far as the head "wings" go, they give me peace of mind. I'm far less concerned about my child's view than I am her safety. I've read a lot of reviews of people not liking the seat due to the side impact air wings (or whatever they're called) blocking their child's view which in my opinion is no reason to compromise her safety.

Easy push button latch system, takes little effort to secure seat in vehicle. I think every kid should have this seat.

As some others have noted (see "Hate this with a passion" under one-star reviews for: Safety 1st Air Protect Complete Convertible Car Seat, Silverleaf ) the harness straps are difficult to tighten; one shoulder tends to tighten more than the other, so you have to jockey back and forth, alternately loosening and tightening the strap to get a good fit. I believe the primary reason for this is that they no longer include what I would call "shoulder harness guides" for it.

If you look at the "Marshall" color style for the product I am reviewing, you will see what I mean; look where the shoulder strap fits through the body; each shoulder strap goes in its own "guide" which is basically a flat nylon sheath/holster (you'll need to zoom in to see it clearly). Well, it only exists in the picture, because they don't seem to include these anymore (in fact, you can only see it in pictures of the "Marshall" color, probably because the manufacturer forgot to update the picture). The display model ("Flutter" color) at Babies-R-Us *did* have these guides (no doubt an older model), but the one I bought did not; also a "Flutter", manufactured in August of 2011.

This will be hard to envision if you don't have the car seat to inspect, but where the shoulder strap feeds through the back of the shell, it passes down over a round metal bar (eventually connecting to the splitter plate). But instead of running directly over the metal bar, there are thin, roughly-textured (like fine-grained sand paper) plastic tabs that the strap runs over. I assume these tabs keep the straps from twisting or sliding side-to-side. However they create friction and make the strap hard to pull in for a tight fit.

The display model had the guides which, on the back-side of the shell, actually attach to the metal bar, so the harness strap never comes in contact with the textured tabs or the metal bar; the harness strap stays within the guide, eliminating the friction caused by sliding over the textured tabs. (I would guess that the guides and tabs were originally designed to work together; the guides preventing twisting, and the tabs preventing the guides themselves from sliding around or being pulled through to the back. But removing the guides creates the unintended consequence of the harness strap now rubbing directly on the tab. Again, this is just a guess)

I have no idea if they stopped including the guides as a cost-savings or because they caused other problems (they weren't even aligned properly in the display model; they had been pulled through to the back of the shell). At any rate, with the guides properly aligned there was no problem. But without the guides, I consider this car seat unacceptable (I returned it). I would note that there are relatively few people who have voiced this complaint, so your mileage may vary. But if I owned this car seat, I would ask the manufacturer why the "shoulder harness guides" are no longer included.

This is the second of this seat I have purchased. My daughter loves this seat and it is so easy to install. Rear facing this seat takes up a huge amount of room and is not for many cars. However, front facing it fits well in my VW Passat. I love this seat. I only wish it would have worked as a rear facing seat in my car. I had to purchase a different seat that I did not like as much to fit in my car rear facing until my daughter could face forward.

Nicer than expected. Plush. Ordered the XL. Husband is size 34-35 waist, tried it, and it will work nicely with a pillow, or optional santa belly. Also,is big enough for larger member of the family to wear. It has everything a Santa needs. Beard, white wig, boot covers with white faux fur trim, black belt, elastic waist pants, zippered jacket, and gloves. The gloves are the only thing that disappoints. They remind me of off-white knited work gloves, instead of the pure white thin gloves I expected. Also, for an inside Santa they would be hot. This suit came in a nice box, but it will definitely need airing-out before use.It has a strong chemical like smell. It will be a nice addition to our Christmas festivities, and the grandchildren will be thrilled.

I took a gamble when buying this suit and I was plesantly surprised with the quality of the product. The weight and quality of the fabric is very nice. The pants even have front pockets which i found to be useful. I was concerned that it would not be big enough if ordered as a true size but it was plenty large enough to stuff full of fiber fill for the classic, rotund Sant look. I do suggest that you go ahead and get the "Santa Belly" as I was extremely warm with all the fiberfill packed around me. The gators are a heavy vinly and need to be taped down to your black shoes or boots with black duct tape. The elastic strap is thin and not strong enough to hold the gators into place for the proper "boot" illusion. The beard and hair are a knock out! Very cool and the eyebrow white works fantastic with a little care. Overall I was very pleased with this purchase. The kids had no idea who I was and I received many compliments, as well as open mouthed stares from more than one child! Great fun!

We have had this car seat for almost 2 years. What we love about it is the weight/height limit - my almost 4 year old still fits in it very comfortably! Also the padding is plush, easy to snap on/off for washing and install is a breeze once you do it a few times. The built in lock-off's are amazing, making it even more easy to use.
The problem we ran into was recently my daughter spilt milk in this seat. We took off the cover, straps, everything to get it ready to go into the wash. However, I accidentally tipped it forward before cleaning out the little groves that everything gets stuck in, and the milk went under the foam liner. I cannot get it all to come out, and there appears to be no way to remove this liner without breaking it :(. The carseat now of course smells terrible, I could't imagine putting my child in it unless it was completely cleaned, so I'm an unhappy mama. We planned on keeping her in this seat for quite awhile longer, and now it looks like we will be buying a new one - at this point it makes no sense to purchase another true fit due to the fact she it wouldn't last as long for her as a combo seat. It's too bad the new B830 isnt' out yet.
I notified the company that not being able to remove the foam for cleaning was an issue for me, but they never responded.

My daughter was already at the upper shoulder height limit of her Britax marathon by age 3, so I began looking for a seat that would work for my tall kid. I saw the True Fit and thought I'd give it a try. My daughter is now 5 & 1/2 and she still fits in this seat comfortably, and will use this seat for a while to come. Since I've only owned this while my child sat forward-facing, I cannot speak to how this performs rear-facing.

Pros:
1. Removable cover does not require re-threading the whole seat or removing the seat from the car. Hooray! I now can wash the car seat cover regularly without having to disassemble the whole back seat.
2. Extra padding provides a soft ride for little kids, and easily removes for bigger kids. My daughter is 43" tall, weighs about 40 pounds, and she has enough space in this seat to keep toys next to her inside the seat. As long as you remember to remove the extra padding, your kid will fit...heck, even my 5'0" 110-pound friend can get her behind into this seat comfortably!
3. Easy to use with the car seatbelt. Actually, I found the car seatbelt easier to use than the latch system since the belt helps to tighten itself and requires less pulling and tugging in awkward positions on my part. The belt path is clearly labeled on the seat itself, and securing the belt is easier to do on this seat than the Britax Marathon.
4. Generous "wings" around the head area provide a comfortable nap space. Toss in a little pillow and you're set for a long car ride!
5. The continuous strap allows kids to get in and out without having to loosen and tighten the harness every time. Just unbuckle, pull the strap on one side to loosen it and remove that arm, then pull the strap the other way to loosen that side and remove that arm.

Cons:
1. This is a big seat. I have an Explorer and it can fit in any of the 3 rear seat positions easily, but it takes up half the back seat of our Scion xB. This seat might not be a great choice if your car has small back seats.
2. This is a heavy seat. 19 pounds. Needless to say, we don't use this as our travel seat.

All in all, I love this seat. My daughter is too tall (seated should height over 16.5") for any other harness seat that I can find. Thankfully, thanks to the True Fit, she is safely buckled into a harness seat in our primary vehicle, and should remain that way for at least another year.

I love this stroller. I gave a video review on it on my blog a while ago and just had very little bad to say about it. It has so many great features and even the yellow color is so bright which I really love for any parent that jogs in the evening after work when it's dark because you can easily be seen with the stroller. It has a great brake system, great suspension and it's comfortable for a child. The seat is so wide which is great for a toddler/older child. It also has many pockets to fit keys, sippy cups, etc. Their is a great canopy that fully covers the child and the basket is good for a medium size diaper bag. It is incredibly well made, probably the most durable and sturdy stroller I've ever seen but it's still lightweight so I don't worry about lifting it. It folds down pretty compact. The one thing to be aware of is you can't have diaper bags hanging off the bar and stuff because it will tip if their is too much weight on the bar.

While this jogger is definitely better than the cheaper version, it does not warrant the large price tag. It doesn't make your run that much better or easier. If you buy it with your first child then at least it will last, but don't bother if you just plan on using it for a year or two.

The BOB Ironman is awesome! My husband and I are both runners and we both LOVE it. Our son is 6 months old and he seems to enjoy riding along as well. If you want to try to get back into shape and take your baby along, the BOB is the best. I have met other runners with BOB strollers and everyone agrees that they are the best strollers. Even if you aren't a runner, its the smoothest stroller around!

I had been looking for a cam bearing tool for a long while now, but the cost always put me off. Every few months I'd search around again and see if anyone was having a deal of some sort and I came across Lisle's set here on Amazon. One of the reviews I found online (can't remember if it was on Amazon) stated it was nearly identical to the Snap-On set that he had stolen, only not as nice of a finish and some coarser machining. After looking at pictures of Snap-On's Cam Bearing Tool, they're almost packaged in the same case (though mine actually came in a grey/blackish case). Exact same locations in the case, same amount of expanders, neoprene sleeves, looked nearly the same length and size too, for a fraction of the cost. The Lisle set also has a greater range, albeit only for the smaller bearings (Snap-On = 1.475" to 2.690", Lisle's set goes down to 1.125"). AND IT'S STILL MADE IN THE USA! So I took the chance and hoped I wasn't going to get junk.

I've only had time to use it on one engine, a Jeep 4.0L I6 that me and a friend are building a stroker out of. Worked great. Feels very solid, no damage or anything to the sleeves (or bearings), I really think the cost difference is that it's not as "polished" as the Snap-On set. I don't need my tools pretty, I need them to work. I think I'll get many, many good years out of this tool. Thumbs up from me!

Ordered it from Amazon because at best, other sites had it only a few dollars cheaper (like at most $5), so I figured I go with Amazon because as far as purchasing things on the internet goes, Amazon is pretty good. Me staying me is worth $5.

If you are going to be working on your engine yourself and installing a new set of cam bearings yourself this tool is a must have. I didn't want to fork out a ton of money to pay for the "Comp Cams" one so we got this one instead. It is a great product made in the U.S.A. works flawlessly. You can tell it is a well thought out product. We are building up a 360 Dodge/Plymouth engine and this tool worked fine; and from the looks of it, you could build up much bigger and much smaller engines as well with the multiple sizes allowed. We had the bearings installed in about an hour. One tip is to mark the rubber piece with a sharpie so you can line up the oil holes 100%. We didn't have to take out any of the bearing as they all went in straight first try!

Highly recommended product!
